The Environmental Health Education Intern will assist in conducting outreach, recording participant data and developing resources to promote OEC's Eco-Healthy program line, which includes the Eco-Healthy Childcare Program and the Tiny Footprints Program. Both of these programs seek to reduce children's exposure to toxics that negatively impact health, and to educate parents on how to be informed, proactive consumers. "The Crown Jewel of Oregon's high desert" Steens Mountain rises a vertical mile above the surrounding landscape. Come join us on the Northwest slope of the Wilderness Area, pulling fence to enhance wildlife habitat.

Be a field botanist for the weekend! Join us on an new annual project documenting plant community change within the Western Juniper Management Area. General plant identification skills are desirable, but are not required.

Come help ONDA work towards finishing off the final 12 miles of fence remaining at Hart Mountain, and take a soak in the hot springs! This trip will not overlap with hunting season.

Did you miss the first Steens fence pull? Come help continue the good work in a similar area: pulling fence to enhance wildlife habitat.

Join us for a weekend atop Sutton Mountain, just an hour's drive East of Prineville. Next to the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, you'll be able to get a close look at the area's volcanically formed geologies while traveling off the beaten path. We'll pull obsolete fence on Saturday, and enjoy an optional hike on Sunday.

PRC is seeking an intern to help launch a corporate giving program. In particular, the intern would research local, regional and national corporations with charitable giving programs to identify companies that could potentially donate to PRC's conservation programs.

Through Project 185, River Guardian volunteers choose a mile segment of the Willamette to monitor on a monthly basis. From canoes, kayaks, backyards or a favorite walking trail, River Guardians look for excessive erosion, new clearings, illegal dumping, sewer overflows, and other problems that affect the habitat and water quality of the Willamette.
