Would you like to get outside this summer and spend an afternoon with a group of friends or co-workers in a beautiful natural park? Friends of Trees will organize volunteer work parties during the summer for groups of ten or more who want to care for newly planted native trees at natural areas in Clark, Multnomah, Washington or Clackamas counties. Work parties include weeding, mulching and watering. Friends of Trees can schedule the events on weekday mornings or Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. If you know ten or more people who would like to work together to help young native trees thrive, please contact Rudy at 503-282-8846 ext. 18, or rudyd@friendsoftrees.org.
