Founded in 1957, The Student Conservation Association (SCA) is a nationwide force of high school and college-age volunteers who are committed to protecting and preserving the environment. We are conservation in action.

The SCA mission is to build the next generation of conservation leaders and inspire lifelong stewardship of our environment and communities by engaging young people in hands-on service to the land.
