Iwetemlaykin State Heritage Site Dedication and Opening Ceremony

Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) and other partners will host a public dedication and opening ceremony at the Iwetemlaykin State Heritage Site. This new Oregon state park, located near the town Joseph in northeeastern Oregon, is the Governor's park-a-year for 2009.

In addition to the dedication and opening ceremonies, visitors will enjoy breathtaking vistas, trails (many of which are ADA-accessible), interpretive signs and other informational materials, and other visitor facilities.
