Field Trip: Bald Mt. to McNeil Pt. on Mt. Hood

Starting at the cutoff trail, this Native Plant Society of Oregon group will hike into the Mt. Hood Wilderness past fantastic views from Bald Mt. and then proceed along the ridgeline along Trail #600 toward McNeil Pt.
We'll be searching for late flowers, mushrooms and butterflies, plus seeing the first hint of fall color, including mountain ash, huckleberries and western larch. Up to 8 miles total of moderate hiking, about 1500' elevation gain.
