Jake Hurlbert has been documenting a year long ecological study of a semi-temperate rain forest. The model used is Kings Mtn. The mountain trail head is located west of Forest Grove on Highway 6 (2.5 miles past Elk Creek Campground).
 
He will speak on ecological relationships of plants, fungi, and insects. This program is appropriate for anyone interested in studying nature and/or hiking. Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church on SE Belmont Street at SE 54th Avenue.
