Summer 2009 Research Intern

The Oregon Environmental Council (OEC) is recruiting a Research Intern to assist our Executive Director, Andrea Durbin. Our mission is to bring Oregonians together for a healthy environment, with current programs focused on protecting kids’ health from toxic pollution, cleaning up Oregon’s rivers, slowing global warming, and building a sustainable economy.

We work at the cusp of state policy and community action, advocating environmentally sound state policy and providing solutions to individuals and businesses.

Job responsibilities for a Research Intern include policy and legislative research, some media research and other projects as needed. A qualified candidate will have some experience in a policy field and an interest in environmental issues.

If interested, please send resume and cover letter to Andrea Durbin at andread@oeconline.org.
