We are looking for groups and individuals

The Youth Garden Project relies on adult and teen volunteers to accomplish much of the work required in the garden.   If you like to get dirty, enjoy being surrounded by plants, have a friend you want to hang out with while being productive, want to meet new people, or just want to help, this is the place to be!

Tasks vary by season and include things like weeding (of course), mulching paths, irrigation, harvest, planting, turning compost, spreading leaves or other interesting things, etc.  This work is often physically challenging, however, there are always jobs that can be tailored to individual abilities, so don’t be shy!

Volunteer workdays are usually (but not always) the last Saturday of each month from 10am-2pm.  Announcements of workdays, changes, and reminders are sent by email to YGP volunteers.  Generally, we take one or two winter months off (December and/or January)
