This year’s Cycle Oregon Weekend event is centered around Fort Stevens State Park, where history meets the beach. There are routes from several miles to 60-plus available each day, and plenty of time in between to explore the beach and soak up some history in places the Lewis and Clark expedition stayed, along with shipwrecks and war relics.

New this year: Kids Camp!  The BTA will be on-site to provide "bike camp" for kids. We will teach basic bike-handling and safety skills in a fun environment. Activities include races, scavenger hunts, and beach rides.

Volunteers will help BTA youth instructors run a two-day kids' camp. Volunteers will be trained on Friday afternoon, then get to hang around and relax; on Saturday, they'll run the camp; and on Sunday morning, they'll take the kids on a ride to the beach.

Perks:  All transport, food and lodging for volunteers is covered. Plus you get to enjoy the evening social activities that make Cycle Oregon events so great.
