Ride with elementary and middle school kids in the BTA’s nationally recognized safety education program. More than 25,000 kids have learned safe biking skills as part of the program – and had fun while they were at it! Volunteers get in on the fun, as ride-along chaperones on practice rides in neighborhoods around the schools. On-the-job training provided.

The Bicycle Safety Education Program is currently running in the following Oregon communities: Albany, Ashland, Beaverton, Corvallis, Eugene, Portland, Salem, Springfield, Talent and Tigard.

Contact Anna Scalera to volunteer in the Portland Metro area. If you live outside the metro area, contact your Local Coordinator.
